Description

A user reported issues installing symbiosis-mysql, on an Ubuntu Trusty machine, which ultimately turned out to be caused by mysqld failing to start.

The specific problem was an apparmor policy which prevented mysql from reading our configuration-file:

apparmor="DENIED"
operation="open"
profile="/usr/sbin/mysqld"
name="/etc/mysql/my.cnf.dpkg-symbiosis"

I fixed this in ticket #606187 by updating the apparmor profile, but suspect there may be other lingering surprises for the future.
